Dreamgirl eyeshadows

Hi Beauties!

Today's post is about eyeshadows :) I got these lovely mono eye shades from City Towers and i am totally in love with them. This is dreamgirl range by 4U2 cosmetics. Its a U.S. brand and they have a huge range of cosmetics. You can find their blushes, lipsticks, quad eye shadows, lip glosses. However they are available in selected stores and areas.

One is a shade of brown and the other one is light pink. Here is a swatch of them.

Just see how highly pigmented they are. The color is so smooth and how it has settled onto my skin. They have a creamy shimmery touch. You can apply it with the help of an applicator or a smooth finger. I have seen many pink eye shadows but seriously very few of them have been pigmented. Just see how rich the pink color is. I knw i ought not to but i can not help myself comparing these eye shadows with Luscious mono eye shadows. Whenever i use these i compare them with Luscious. I find these dream girl eye shadows to be more pigmented and smooth than Luscious. Dreamgirl eyeshade costs Rs. 250 while Luscious eyeshade costs Rs. 325. Dreamgirl eyeshade comes in 3g packing while Luscious eyeshade comes in 2.5g packing. Here i dont mean to snub or degrade Luscious, they have amazing cosmetics i just find these eye shadows to be better than theirs.

You can check out 4U2 wesite by clicking on this link 4U2. These eyshadows are also availabe in two different palettes. I would recommend you to grab these wherever, whenever. They are super amazing.

My experience with a few hair products

Hi Beauties!

Here is another post about the shampoos i have used and am using these days. A few months back in winter i purchased a new shampoo for my excessive dry scalp. My skin is way too dry, so much that if i dont drink much water in summers or winters it gets very dehydrated. So i needed a good shampoo for my dry hair and scalp. Before this i used Botanics shampoo for dry and damaged hair but since it stopped coming to Pakistan i had to change my shampoo. So on the recommendation of the store keeper where i buy most of my cosmetic products i bought Charles Worthington moisturizing shampoo for dry hair. The shopkeeper explained to me its endless benefits and miracles. I naturally bought it. It cost me Rs. 400 for a 325ml bottle.

As visible from the above picture its transparent in color and does smell nice but it does not lather really well. I had to use a greater amount to produce lather and still was not usually satisfied. Within one month of its usage my hair turned into a disaster. My scalp went extra dry and i got loads of dandruff. My hair got split ends and they looked like wild bushes. This shampoo proved to be horrible for my hair, they were totally damaged. I again decided to try out a new shampoo and a hair repairing treatment as i desperately needed one. So the next shampoo i tried out was Suave.

I have been using this shampoo for three months for now and my hair have undergone a drastic change from horrible to very much bearable. Its not really transparent, it has a touch of white to it and is rather liquidy. It cost me Rs. 300 i guess ( dont exactly remember the price) for a 429ml bottle. I purchased it from a cosmetic shop in City Towers basement. I love its smell and it rathers really well. I use a small quantity of it and there is lather everywhere. After washing my hair they feel smooth, not dry and dehydrated.

Along with this shampoo i am also using Boots intensive hair treatment for dry and damagaed hair.

I must say this is a miraculous product. All i have to do is apply it on my wet hair after shampooing, rub my scalp and hair a little with the product and let it settle for five minutes. After five minutes i just rinse off my hair. This product leaves the hair so smooth and shiny. It has a wonderful strong flowery smell. When i use it, it feels as if my bathroom is full of flowers. Its made from natural plant extracts and is not harmful for hair in nay way. I purchased this product for Rs. 400 from City Towers and is fully worth the price. I would recommend it to anyone who has dry and damged hair and needs to treat them.

In the end i would like to mention that this review is fully based on my experience with the products. Your expirence might be totally different from mine. Whay suits me may not suit you. The purpose of this review is to make you aware of different products, the decision to try them out is entirely yours. Stay healthy and beautiful. Take care!

Luscious Diamond Finish Nail Lacquers

Hi Beauties!

Here is another post about nail colors. Today i am reviewing  Luscious Diamond Finish Nail Lacquer in Salsa color which is number 4.

Its a beautiful bright red color and just look at my nails shining. It has this sparkly finish to it and if added a top coat the result is an even more shiny color, though i have not applied a top coat. The applicator brush is large which provides an excellent coverage on the nail plus the cap is wide for a smooth and strong grip of the applicator brush. The best thing i find about Luscious nail paints is that they dry out pretty fast when applied on nails so you dont have to keep your fingers stiff for much long. I change my nail paint on almost daily basis so you can understand how much effort and time i have to put everyday. I have some nail paints that take half an hour to dry up but with Luscious this is the effect i got after two coats and two minutes :D So im totally up for their nail lacquers. I just love them. I totally, totally recommend! It costs Rs. 225 and is easily available in super stores around the country. I got mine from HKB main boulevard (Liberty market). You can also order online form their website Luscious Cosmetics

Do you have Luscious nail lacquers? What do you think about them? Share your views with me. Stay healthy and beautiful. Take care!

Beautyuk Retro Plumping Lip Gloss

Hi beauties!

Here is a new post and its going to be about a plumping lip gloss by beautyuk . Beautyuk is a UK brand, a family run business that started about five years ago. Their products are very reasonably priced and affordable with no compromise on quality. This is the picture of the lip gloss i am going to review.

Without Flash!

With Flash!

Its in Coral color which is number 9.

This is a retro plumping lip gloss. It has an active pulmping agent which tingles when you apply it on your lips. The plumping agent provides your lips a full plump and a perfect pout. This is how its apllicator looks like.

The applicator is long and solid which helps in perfect application of gloss over the lips. Here are a few swatches of the shade.

This is the effect it gives when applied on my lips.

This is more of reddish pink coral color. Although it doesnot compliment my skin tone much but when i wear it with a matching attire it looks beautiful, vibrant and bright. On application it does tingle the lips, infact to me it sometimes feel as if i have burnt my lips a little but this sensation only lasts for a few minutes till the plumping agent reacts with the skin. To summarize i totally recommend this product as it adheres to what it claims to be and is very affordable as well. My cousin brought it for me from England. It costs 2.99 pounds ( I couldnt seem to find the currency symbol) and you can buy it online from their website by clicking on the link Retro plumping lip gloss . Its available in seven beautiful shades and they ship internationally.

Hope the review was helpful. Do let me know what you think about it. Stay healthy and beautiful. Take care!

Artmatic Nail Lacquers

Hi Beauties!

Here is another post on nail lacquers. Its going to about the same nail lacquer brand i reviewed yesterday, Artmatic. I'll be reviewing four colors today... so lets start up.

The first one is SHEER ROSE GLOW in number 701. The bottle comes in 13.5 ml packing. The brush applicator is thin.

I found this color to be lacking in pigmentation. The color is very sheer and the color effect isn't so strong. Above is the result i got after three coats so i am not kind of happy with this one but it isn't so bad for Rs. 30 :p

The next one is in BUBBLE GUM color number 803 and this came in 15ml bottle 0_o. Both the bottles look exactly the same to me. If i hadn't read it i would have never known that both are in different quantities :p

This is the effect i got after three coats.

Next one is in the color ELEGANT RED and the number is 012. This also came in 15 ml packing.

This is the effect i got after three coats. I really liked this color.

And the last one is in the color SHEER ECRU GLOW number 704 and this one is in 13.5 ml bottle.

This is the effect i got after three coats and i also liked this color.

These nail colors tend to be liquidy but three coats produce a good result so as such i am pretty satisfied with them.

Hope you people liked the review. Please let me know your comments. Stay healthy and beautiful! Take care.

Nail Lacquers

Hi beauties!

This is kind of my first blog post so wish me luck :p Anyways its about nail lacuquers. The first nail polish im going to review is by the brand AmA. This is most probably a chinese brand.

Its a light purple shade more like lilac color. Its a cheap Chinese product. I bought this for Rs. 30. I dont actually mind using these cheap products as long as they dont do any harm to me. I have used this nail color twice before and it did not turn my nails yellow and did not even chip off so i am really satisfied with it.

This is the effect i got after two apllications. The brush applicator is a little thin but its okay with me. You can use three coats for an even better result. It dries out quickly which I find a really good feature as i change my nail color on almost daily basis and even some of the expensive quality brands sometime take time to dry out after apllication, so i am quite happy with this one.

The second nail lacquer i am going to review is by the brand Artmatic. The bottle says its a U.S. brand but i highly doubt it. Its probably another Chinese brand.

Its in satfire rose color and the number is 165.its more lyk an orangy coral shade. I also bought this one for Rs. 30 and below is the result i got after two coats.

This color tends to chip off quite easily so i'll prefer using a top coat for a more shining look and it will also protect the nail polish from chipping off.

Now some of you may have strong opinions against using these cheap products that is fine but i am okay with it. I have used them and as such i did not find any particular con in these products so im reffering you to give them a try as well but its entirely upon you people to decide. These products may not be easily available in all areas. I purchased it from a local Lahore market.

I hope this review was helpful for you ladies and i plan to improve with the passage of time so bear with me for now :p Take care!
