Beauty Haul from Al Fatah

Hi Beauties!

So continuing my haul posts from previous month, I have got some more to share. Al Fatah has got quite some variety when it comes to cosmetics. They have MAC, Bobbi Brown, Body Shop and what not. I splurged some things too. Here is what I got.

1. Neutrogena wave
2. The Face Shop strawberry cleansing foam
3. Too faces Smokey Eye kit
4. Too Faced Natural Eye kit
5. Makeover Paris 6 pcs eye shadow kit
6. Classics Listick

These Too Faced eye shadow kits cost me Rs. 1195 each. Quite reasonable eh? Well guess what, I got ripped. How? Well, these are not originals rather copies and are available for Rs. 700 at Victoria Departmental Store Link Road. *Sympathies needed*

The 6 pcs eye shadow kit by Makeover Paris is for Rs. 895.

Classics lipstick for Rs. 275.

Neutrogena wave for Rs. 845. I asked the price at VIP cosmetics shop in Liberty Market and they are selling it for Rs. 1200. Gosh!

The Face Shop cleansing foam in strawberry for Rs. 375.

Hope you beauties liked my haul. Drop in your comments and let me know what you think of my buys. Stay healthy and beautiful. Take care!

Splurging from Splurge

Hi Beauties!

May is about to end and I am trying my best to fit in any haul posts that I can. I still have so many left but its okay I can always share them with you later :) I tried out shopping online from another Face book page this time, that is from Splurge and I would say my shopping experience went fine with Splurge as well.

Splurge is an online Face book page that sells jewellery, bags, cosmetics, shoes, shades, clothes and what not. They have a huge variety available on their page. Just browse through and check it out yourself. Some time back they had an offer going on their page for Wet n Wild trio palettes which was buy 3 for Rs. 2400. I ordered myself 2 sets of the deal that is 6 palettes in total. Here are the ones I ordered.

1. On cloud nine
2. I dream greenie
3. I got good jeans
4. I'm feeling retro
5. Spoiled brat
6. Cool as a cucumber

When the order arrived I was informed that two of the platettes, I dream of greenia and Cool as a cucumber have one shadow broken. Its not anyone's fault that the palettes were broken during shipping. I guess either the Company did not pack them well or they were mis handled while shipping. But anyways, I was given the option to buy them on a discounted rate or get a refund. I chose to get a refund. So lets see which palettes survived...

Here is I'm feeling retro

I got good jeans

On cloud nine

And last but not the least, Spoiled brat. Upon delivery, this palette also had a broken shadow.

Here is the back view of the palette.

So out of 6 palettes 3 palettes have reached me safely and unbroken. I am thankful to Splurge for getting me Wet n Wild palettes as we do not have them easily available in Pakistan. However I must express here that even after so many days of delivery I have not been refunded yet. I received my order on May 18th and its may 31st today and still no refund, no contact as to how much will the refund be, when to expect or any reason of delay. When customers are strictly told to make the payment very next day of placing an order then isn't it an ethical and moral obligation on the opposing party to do the same too? I'd say I am disaapointed by Splurge's customer services. Lets see when I would get my refund and even if I would get one after this post. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Hope you liked mu haul. Drop in your comments and let me know. Stay healthy and beautiful. Take care!

M.A.C. (fake) Haul

Hi Beauties!

I have hauled alot after Eid ul Fitr and have got myself alot of stuff but due to some laziness and other reasons I have not been able to share my hauls with you girls. However I am now trying to make amends to you and will be doing small haul posts to cover some stuff I bought. So I went to Model Town Link Road this Saturday to get some grocery stuff as I wanted to make pizza at home and had no plans to buy any cosmetics. But you know me going me simply could not resist and here is what I ended getting for myself.

Yes Yes, you are seeing it right. They are M.A.C. palettes but the fake ones. Don't get turned off. Go through the whole post you will love them.

See the full size mirror fixed under the palette lid. You can easily get a full view of the eye and apply makeup easily.

Love the zebra pattern on the cover of the palette.

Here are swatches of one of the palettes. The swatches are of the above palette, top row from left to right.

These are the swatches of bottom row of the above palette from left to right.

See how pigmented the shades are. When I saw them the colors looked quite appealing to me but when I swatched a shade I was like my my, this is lovely. The shades are shimmery as you can tell from the shine in the swatches. It has a nice yellow gold, green olive, copper, dull blue and lack shade. A great palette for evening makeup.

All the palettes come with an appropriate size mirror for easy application and double ended eye shadow applicator brush. Each palette is priced at Rs. 240, Amazing isn't it? The prices are really really reasonable for the variety and quality of the product. These are small hand sized palettes and can easily be placed in the purse/handbag for convenience. So this haul cost me Rs. 720 in total. Where do you get such quality palettes priced this reasonable? I got these from Victoria Departmental Store from their cosmetics section. They have very few palettes left so if you live in Lahore hurry and get your hands on these palettes before they all are gone. I would rate these palettes a 5/5 because I love them :p

Girls do comment on my post. Share your views with me. Tell me if you liked these palettes. Stay healthy and beautiful. Take care!

Palladio Eye Shadow Quads

Hi Beauties!

Since by now you all would have judged how loose I am when it comes to shopping. Taking a trip to a single shop means that no matter what, I would end up buying something for myself so here is what happened with me again. I went to Shoppe Liberty markets to get myself a chocolate and this is what I ended up buying.

Its Palladio herbal eyeshadow quad in somkey eyes.

These are non builded swatches of each shade. I swiped them once with my finger and swatched them on my hand and below is the result I got. The shades seem pretty much pigmented and when builded they look wonderful. I tried them out on my eyes and they looked superb.

I got this palette for Rs. 750 and I am loving this palette. Infact I think I am going to place this in my beauty bag and carry it at all times with me in my purse. I would give it a 5/5 and would recommend you girls to give it a try. They are available in several other wonderful shades. Comment on this post and let me know what you think about me my new love. Stay healthy and beautiful. Take care!

Luscious Single Eyeshadows

Hi Beauties!

Today im going to do another post about Luscious Cosmetics and the product im reviewing is their single eyshadow in ANGEL.

Its like a light purple, lilac sort of shade. Here is a swatch of it

This is what Luscious claims about their eyeshadows

"Luscious Eyeshadows are luxuriously creamy, rich, and blendable. They are packed with intense color that will never crease or fade. Enhance your eyes with delicate shimmer and a plush, velvety finish."

Quite frankly i do not agree with Luscious. I find this eyeshadow quite powdery and not buildable at all. It is not so pigmented and after some times it gets cakey. Although i have this only eyeshadow by Luscious, do not own any others yet but my experience with this one has not been so great. I find dreamgirl eyeshadows better than this Luscious one. You can read my review on Dreamgirl eyeshadows here. A single eyeshadow costs Rs. 325 and can be purchased online from their website here, they deliver nationwide or you can also buy them from large cosmetics stores.

All in all i am not happy with this eyeshadow and would not recommend you to buy it. I would rate this product 2/5. I hope the review was helpful for you girls. Let me know of your comments. Stay healthy and beautiful. Take care.

Beautyuk eye shadow palette

Hi Beauties!

This post is about the famous Beautyuk eye shadow palettes :) oh yes i have managed to get my hands on these palettes and i am going to share my experience with you now. i have this Beautyuk eye shadow palette in No. 6 which is named as day and night.

Isnt this palette a pretty sight or what? Just look how pretty the colors are and so vibrant.... Well this palette is a combo of darker shades that can be worn at night and some vibrant shades to be worn in day time (hence the name day and night). The size of the palette is smaller then the size of my hand but still it houses 10 different eyeshadows. Its really convenient to carry it around in your purse. I always have this palette in my purse. Each shadow is approximately the size of a Rs. 1 coin. It comes with double ended foam applicator and underneath the applicator space there is this sleek bar mirror attached to the palette, not convenient though but something is better than nothing. The mirror might come handy for touch ups. Here are a few swatches of the palette.

The shadows are highly pigmented. I am amazed at the quality of these eye shadows. The black one and shimmery brown and maroon ones are super pigmented. Infact i find the black eye shadow to be better than many of my other palettes. Though i am not pleased with the light pink color but overall i am quite satisfied with the palette. In the above picture the first two shadows on the lower left corner serve as highlighters. I love the second one it gives a very natural touch. The next three shadows and the upper two shadows from the top right corner can be worn in the day time while the top left ones can be worn at night for a smokey eye look. This palette costs 3.99 pounds and weighs 10gms. The palette can be purchased online from their website here or you can also place an order with Sara Hassan she is selling Beautyuk stuff and has great deals and discounts. All in all i love this palette and would give it a 4.7/5 and would recomend it to you girls.

Let me know if the review was helpful for you girls. Stay healthy and beautiful. Take care!

Dreamgirl eyeshadows

Hi Beauties!

Today's post is about eyeshadows :) I got these lovely mono eye shades from City Towers and i am totally in love with them. This is dreamgirl range by 4U2 cosmetics. Its a U.S. brand and they have a huge range of cosmetics. You can find their blushes, lipsticks, quad eye shadows, lip glosses. However they are available in selected stores and areas.

One is a shade of brown and the other one is light pink. Here is a swatch of them.

Just see how highly pigmented they are. The color is so smooth and how it has settled onto my skin. They have a creamy shimmery touch. You can apply it with the help of an applicator or a smooth finger. I have seen many pink eye shadows but seriously very few of them have been pigmented. Just see how rich the pink color is. I knw i ought not to but i can not help myself comparing these eye shadows with Luscious mono eye shadows. Whenever i use these i compare them with Luscious. I find these dream girl eye shadows to be more pigmented and smooth than Luscious. Dreamgirl eyeshade costs Rs. 250 while Luscious eyeshade costs Rs. 325. Dreamgirl eyeshade comes in 3g packing while Luscious eyeshade comes in 2.5g packing. Here i dont mean to snub or degrade Luscious, they have amazing cosmetics i just find these eye shadows to be better than theirs.

You can check out 4U2 wesite by clicking on this link 4U2. These eyshadows are also availabe in two different palettes. I would recommend you to grab these wherever, whenever. They are super amazing.

Let me know what you think about my review. Stay healthy and beautiful. Take care!
