Luscious Ultra Protective Whitening UV Base

Here is another post on Luscious Cosmetics and its about their very famous product, Luscious Ultra Protective Whitening UV Base. I know this product has already been reviewed on almost every Pakistani blog but still i feel the need to express my views about this product as well.

It comes in a white cardboard packing like this one with directions and benefits written on the back of the box.

The tube looks like this and comes in a 30ml packing. It is small in size and very convenient to carry around in your purse.

Ingredients and benefits are written on the back of the bottle.

When un lided, this is how the mouth of the tube looks like. You have to squeeze the tube for the product to come out.

Here is what Luscious claims about this product

I must say i am totally in agreement with Luscious this time. No doubt this is a miraculous four in one product. It serves as a whitening base, moisturizer, sun protector and also as a face primer. I have been using this product for quite sometime now. Infact this is my fifth or sixth tube. I am totally satisfied and happy with the results of this product. I have a dry skin so this serves me as a perfect moisturizer and also as a whitening base. I regularly use this base. Sometimes i only apply this base on my face and no foundation or powder yet the results are visible on my face. This is my favorite summer product. With all this scorching heat and sweat all day long this is one light product i like using on my face. When you apply it on your face it might feel a little heavy and greasy on the skin but after a while when it sets onto your skin you feel as if nothing is on your face.  

The below picture has been taken before the application of the the base. If you can notice there are fine lines visible in the hand plus the skin is also multi toned i.e. the cracks appear to be more fair then the rest of the hand skin.



 

The below picture has been shot after the application of the product. Notice how it has smoothed out the fine lines and has made the skin even toned, smooth and fair. You can click on the images to enlarge them and see the effect better.





i just can not put it into words how happy i am with this amazing base. It costs Rs. 745 and can be purchased online from Luscious cosmetics website here, they deliver nationwide or it can also be bought from leading cosmetics stores in selective cities. Some people might consider the product a bit pricey but trust me it requires a really small amount so it will last you quite long. I aqueeze some of the product on my fingers and pat them lightly all over my face and then blend it in with my fingers for an even application. All in all i truely love this product, it sure is a must have and would rate it 5/5.

Luscious Single Eyeshadows

Today im going to do another post about Luscious Cosmetics and the product im reviewing is their single eyshadow in ANGEL.

Its like a light purple, lilac sort of shade. Here is a swatch of it

This is what Luscious claims about their eyeshadows

"Luscious Eyeshadows are luxuriously creamy, rich, and blendable. They are packed with intense color that will never crease or fade. Enhance your eyes with delicate shimmer and a plush, velvety finish."

Quite frankly i do not agree with Luscious. I find this eyeshadow quite powdery and not buildable at all. It is not so pigmented and after some times it gets cakey. Although i have this only eyeshadow by Luscious, do not own any others yet but my experience with this one has not been so great. I find dreamgirl eyeshadows better than this Luscious one. A single eyeshadow costs Rs. 325 and can be purchased online from their website here, they deliver nationwide or you can also buy them from large cosmetics stores.

Luscious Cream Liner

Here is another post on Luscious cosmetics. This post is on their cream liners for eyes. I have Luscious cream liner in Twilight which is number 03 which is a charcoal silver metallic shade. Luscious says about their cream eye liner pencils

"A velvety liner for the eyes containing a blend of antioxidants and vitamins. Richly pigmented to deliver intense, gorgeous colour. Glides on softly without tugging or irritating your eyes."

Although it looks somewhat of a darker blue shade in the picture but its not. Its actually a silver metallic shade. It glides on really well on the eyes. Its so smooth and creamy. There is no need to rub the pencil over and over on the eyes. Its really pigmented and buildable. For a more bold look you can stroke it two to three times. I have been using it for quite some time now and i have not noticed any fall outs. I use it in the lower water line of my eyes and since i have small eyes usually my kajals and pencils drop out of my eyes giving me a holloween make up look but this pencil stays put in my eyes and is long lasting as well. No drop outs, no fading. I'll give this pencil a 5/5 and would totally recommend you girls to buy it. By the length of the pencil you can determine that it really lasts a long time. Its available in 3 different shades and costs Rs. 215 only. I purchased this from Shoppe liberty market. You can check it out on Luscious cosmetics website here . Luscious Diamond Finish Nail Lacquer in Wicked

Here is another post on nail colors and this post is on Luscious Diamond finish nail lacquers. I have already done another post about this brand of nail paints and you can view it here . The color i am going to review today is Wicked which is number 34. Here is a picture of the bottle with flash. Its more like a maroon shade but darker than maroon like a burnt rose color.

 I really admire Luscious nail polishes as they quickly dry out when applied on nails. I bought this nail color a few months back from HKB liberty market for Rs. 225. When i applied this colored on my nails today i noticed that it has become thick and is a bit gooey as well. Though my other colors are just fine i only experienced the thickening with this color so i'll consider it a drawback with this color. A good nail lacquer should not start drying up within a few months. Luscious nail colors come in 15ml bottle with a wide applicator brush for a full nail coverage. The handle is strong and wide for a good hold. The color looks excellent on my hand complexion and i have been complimented several times whenever i have worn this color. Other than thickening i didnt find any draw back with this, so i totally recommend it. You can buy Luscious nail lacquers online from their website here . These nail colors cost only Rs. 225 and they are also available on several good cosmetic stores throughout Lahore.
