I broke at Breakout :p

Hi Beauties!

Here is another haul post for you. You must be familiar with out local clothing brand, Breakout. Its been 3 or 4 years of their existence in the market. I'd say its a good clothing store where you can buy clothes for men and women plus shoes, bags and other accessories like jewellery items. I just went for a stroll into the store but it proved to be contagious for me and I bought some stuff from there. Here is what I got:

This pretty red bracelet is for Rs. 590.

The leopard print bracelet for Rs. 490.

The ring for Rs. 390.

As for the neon pink yellow shoes I do not exactly recall the price but I think they were for Rs. 1400. Not sure exactly.

Hope you liked my haul. Did you buy anything from Breakout this season? If yes, share your experience and buys with me :) Stay healthy and beautiful. Take care!

[Guest Post]: How to find Good Fitting Shoes

Hi Beauites!

We have got another very helpful Guest Post here. Ashley gives us seven highly useful tips to find the best fitting shoes.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Taking Your Shoes in Stride

Walking around in uncomfortable shoes is no picnic. Shoes that simply look good but don't offer proper foot support will eventually cause foot problems, such as heel pain, bunions, deformed toes, nerve damage, swollen ankles, knee pain, and even spine and posture issues. The ideal shoe should compliment the structure of your feet to absorb the shock of walking on various surfaces, whether you are casually walking or doing a strenuous exercise routine. The following tips will help you find the right fitting shoes from flats to heels.

Seven Tips to Find the Right Fitting Shoes

1. Support over Fashion

Focus on proper foot support over fashion. Look for trendy casual and athletic footwear that are specifically designed for arch support and shock absorption for casual walking and for fitness from local stores or online websites.

2. Look around before buying

Take your time shopping for shoes. In other words, don't grab and purchase the first pair of shoes you like just because they're in your size, and their fashionable. Try on several pairs of shoes first and walk around in them for awhile before making a final decision on the pair you want. A shoe salesman can help fit you with an accurate sized shoe, making sure that their is the right amount of toe room for you to feel comfortable and that hugs your heel in such a way that they will not slip up and down when you begin to walk.

3. Make sure your shoes fit

Do not buy tight shoes, assuming that they'll stretch to fit later. If the shoes you try on in the store are too tight on the sides, hurt, or makes your toes feel crammed at the top of the shoes, don't buy them.

4. Find flexible shoes

Find shoes that are flexible. Shoes are really an extension of your foot and should compliment the motion of your foot as you walk. If you can't bend your shoes from the toe or from the heel end with your hand, you should look for another pair. Shoes also need proper cushioning, as this will serve you well especially when walking on uneven or hard surfaces.

5. Afternoon shopping

Because feet have a natural tendency to swell, buy your shoes late in the afternoon. You'll have a better chance of getting a more accurate fit than trying shoes on early in the morning. Try shoes on your dominant foot. The dominant foot is normally larger than the other.

Wearing Shoes With Extra Height- 2 tips just for the ladies!

Wearing heels causes the foot to assume an unnatural position both with standing and with walking. Therefore, women who prefer to wear wedges or heels should take the following things into consideration:

1) Women wearing high-heeled shoes of any height should not wear them for more than three hours a day, although wearing a low-heeled shoe is always a better choice if you just must wear heels instead of stilettos. Because stilettos have an extreme high, narrow heel, it does not offer any support to the middle part of the foot. Wearing heels frequently, especially of this height, will eventually shorten the tendon of the Achilles, which will cause heel pain.

2) Wedges have a major advantage over the average high heel shoe because the heel runs the entire length of the sole of the shoe. This provides the right amount of support for the entire part of the foot and cushions the arch in a more natural position.
The key to choosing any type of footwear is to try your shoes on and allow for swelling or irregularities with shoe size, and comfort level to come into play when buying your next pair!

Shoe haul from Bata

Hi Beauties!

I belong to the age group where I grew up wearing Bata shoes most of my child hood. Whether they were sandals or casual home wear chappals Bata was the most reliable and trusted name of that era. With other sister concerns like bubble gummers, Bata was a leading brand for kids and adults all alike when it came to trendy and long lasting shoes. With all the competition Bata surely lost its charm and market share but it still is number one in areas where these bigger brands are unavailable yet. I got a chance to visit Bata this year to get shoes for my mum and my my, I was lost in what I saw...... Bata has got some really trendy shoes this season. I got myself a few and plan to get few more :p So lets see what I got myself :)

These pruple ones are very comfortable and are for Rs. 799.

I am wearing this pair on work today and I am not finding it much comfortable. Its a little tight on me and is biting me from back too but still is manageable and I am hoping it would losen up after being worn once or twice. This pair is also for Rs. 799.

These cute golden chappals are available in copper as well. I have not worn these yet but they look comfortable and are very very reasonable too. These are only for Rs. 599 <3

This might look and sound a little crazy, I actually bought two pairs of the same style in different colors and when I came home I realized I already have two other pairs of yellow shoes :(

What lead me to buy both these pairs was the fact that they are so very comfortable and soft that you hardly feel anything worn on your feet. These shoes are perfect for everyday use like for office or shopping, for mums and also for pregnant women. These shoes are priced at Rs. 1199 each and are totally worth the price.

I have no idea what got me buying all these shoes but I am loving them all. I think I am going to buy three more pairs in black, blue and white. I have found my lost charm in Bata once again as the styles are really trendy and prices are beyond reasonable. One thing I forgot to mention above is all these shoes are from Bata's range named as Leena. I hope you liked my shoe haul. Who is planning to visit Bata now after reading this post? Which pair you liked the best? Drop in you comments and let me know. Stay healthy and beautiful. Take care!

Platform Heels

Hi Beauties!

So do you like to rock the floor with high heels? Are you into wearing stilettos to achieve that classy look? If yes, then this post might be of interest to you. Some days back I went to Model Town Link Road McDonalds and just next to it is a shop that has kids clothes, shoes and also women shoes. On the main display window I saw some gorgeous high heels and decided to take a look. When I entered the shop there were such pretty classy high heels in different colors and styles. I got myself two of those but would be posting about one only yet.

I have been looking for off white cream shoes for quite sometime as it is a neutral color and can go with quite alot of dresses especially in the summers. So here is what I got myself.

This is the front view of the shoes. I really like the style. It has high heels a back zipper, some clip buckles on sides.

And here is the side view of the heels.

I have worn these shoes twice to work from 9 to 5.30 and I found them totally comfortable. My feet did not hurt at all. These shoes are imported from Thailand and are really very comfortable. The finishing is great and if properly taken care of will definitely last long. I got them for Rs. 1990 from Chief Sahib which is just next to McDonalds Model Town Link Road. They have some really nice variety of shoes. If you happen to go to Link Road do pay them a visit. I have already chosen another pair in grey heels hope I can get my hands on it soon. Overall I would rate the shes 5/5 in terms of style, finishing and comfort.

Do you like them? How about commenting on the post letting me know your views? See you next time. Stay healthy and beautiful. Take care.

Haroon's Shoes

Hi Beauties!

Todays post is going to be about shoes. I love stylish and trendy shoes.... mostly I wear flat chappals as I feel very comfortable in them. Im a size 37. Few months back I got myself 3 different colored chappals from Haroon's. Haroon's is a very popular gift shop situated in Qaddafi Stadium Lahore. They have other branches in Defence Lahore, Islamabad and Rawalpindi. They have a huge variety of shoes, bags, wallets, clutches, jewllery, sunglasses, scarfs, home decor and many more. Its a place worth visiting. Anyways coming back to the topic... these are the chappals I got myself.

Its such a nice blue shade with black imprinted sole and a cute little flower on the strap. The sole is really very comfortable and I like wearing this pair.

This is a bright green colored pair with loads of green colored suede pieces sewn together. The sole is so comfortable I wear it whole day long and my foot heels never hurt. The sole is really very soft.

Here is another lovely pair in black with pointed flower petals. Looks classy when worn but I am not so pleased with the sole of this pair. Its a wooden sort of sole and is really hard. My heels start hurting if I wear it for long hours and I definitely cannot imagine shopping while wearing this pair.

I don't exactly remember the prices of these pairs but I guess I got each pair for Rs. 895. Pretty reasonable. I am very happy with these shoes, they are really cute and different and I would suggest you all to pay Haroon's a visit. It sure is worth it. Let me know what you think of my post. Do comment and share your views. Stay healthy and beautiful. Take care!
